Ella Amitay Sadovsky

In my paintings and Installations I create a visual puzzle of time and space, which seek to examine the constantly changing intimacy, the self vis-à-vis the other, the real and its reflections, and the ability to form a story and dissolve it at the same time. Through the use of reality I search for the deceiving. I use ready-made textiles, plastic boards or canvases laden with images and patterns. These surfaces act as a substrate for the construction and deconstruction of spaces and narratives of tension and anxiety in the hardship and the poetics of everyday life.
